Frequently asked questions
- How accurate is the validation?
- Syntax, DNS and blacklist checks are exact. The mailbox check depends on the receiving server: most answer clearly, but some — Microsoft 365 catch-alls in particular — accept everything. We never guess: those come back as risky or unknown instead of a false deliverable.
- Do you send emails to the addresses I check?
- No. We open a conversation with the mail server and stop right before any message would be sent. The mailbox owner never sees a thing.
- What happens to my uploaded lists?
- Jobs and results delete automatically 48 hours after completion, and you can delete any job immediately. The servers doing the checking never store addresses at all.
- What does "risky" mean?
- The address will probably accept mail, but something warrants caution: the domain is catch-all (accepts anything), the address is a role account (info@, post@), or it's a disposable inbox.
- How does the Klaviyo integration work?
- Connect with a Klaviyo private API key. We pull your lists and segments, check the emails, and show a report with the estimated monthly cost of the dead profiles. One click then suppresses or tags them — after a confirmation with exact counts.
